This past Saturday, we headed off to REI to rent snowshoes and then headed up Big Cottonwood canyon. We originally set off for a particular trail. However, Elizabeth gave false directions so we ended up going up...who knows where (the hike before Dog Lake). Since we had no particular destination it allowed for plenty of time for snow play.

Mom almost slid off the path into...Terror?
On the way down the path was so steep at a few points, that we could sit on the back of our snowshoes and go "shoeledding."
Mary started sitting up feet first, but I think I gave her a fairly aggressive push that propelled her to the head first position.
Awe, so cute!
