Baby Quilt

My mom and I made a quilt together. Since it was my first, I found several stages of this required a bit of extra effort. The real problem was that I finally found a quilt pattern I liked, but they only sold it as a kit with all the materials picked out. The kit was all pink fabrics....What about the boys??? They allowed me to take a picture of it, and said I could try and make my own pattern. Well, I think that is where it added a bit of complication for me, especially never having made a quilt. I'm so happy it turned out and we only had a few hiccups:) I love the finished product.

As I was taking pictures of it, Beau was sure to make his appearance. Lydia, I chose this picture for you:) I hope he and this little baby get along really well.
